THANK YOU!!
Our 2024 Coon Rapids Snowflake Days celebration has now come to an end! On behalf of the Coon Rapids Snowflake Association I would like to thank the businesses, civic organizations, volunteers and most of all the citizens of the City of Coon Rapids for your support of our 60th anniversary annual winter celebration - because of your participation we enjoyed many successes again this year even through all the crazy winter weather we've had these past few weeks!! If I miss anyone in this note, be assured that it was not intentional and know that we very much appreciate all who gave of their valuable time, talent and generous donations to help us out.
I would like to make special mention of the event sponsors: Bunker Hills Golf Course for another successful Mayor's Cup Simulated Golf Tournament, Coon Rapids Fire Department for sponsoring the $400 in gift cards and hosting the Children's Medallion Hunt at Sand Creek Park, Coon Rapids Community Strength Foundation for sponsoring the $500 prize for the Community Medallion Hunt winner, Coon Rapids Ice Center for the amazing and hugely successful Family Fun Day at the CRIC, Sue Leggate for always being there to support our events and keeping everything on track with Cookies & Canvas event, our "clue master" for your time and talents writing the Medallion Hunt clues, the Miss Coon Rapids Scholarship Program for sharing your beautiful newly crowned Miss Coon Rapids & Outstanding Teen titleholders with us to assist at events during the celebration. For all those listed here, and any that I may have inadvertently forgotten - please know how appreciative we are of your support this year.
Thank you to the following businesses who sold our Snowflake buttons this year, we appreciate your support: Coon Rapids Senior Center, Coon Rapids City Hall, Jensen's Foods and Hi-Ten Service Center. Please support these businesses!
Thanks to Mayor Koch, Coon Rapids City Council and City staff for your unconditional support and assistance again this year, Coon Rapids Community Strength Foundation for your generous financial support, Pro Biz Sports Embroidery for designing our Snowflake Button, CTN Cable TV and ABC Newspapers for the fabulous coverage of our events.
To all of our event and behind-the-scenes volunteers, thank you doesn't quite convey how appreciative I am of your commitment to our celebration and the community. You are all amazing!
And finally, my thanks and appreciation to our 2024 Snowflake Days Marquis Sue Erickson! You attended all events and are a shining example of dedication and commitment to our community.
With since appreciation to all -
