2024 SNOWFLAKE DAYS BUTTON DESIGN CONTEST
The Coon Rapids Snowflake Association will celebrate its 60th anniversary event in 2024! They are excited to invite all students grades 5 through 12 in the Coon Rapids elementary schools, middle schools and high school to participate in the 2024 Coon Rapids Snowflake Days Button Design Contest! Two (2) button designs will be chosen!
Prizes will be awarded for 1st Place = $150, 2nd Place = $100 and Honorable Mention = $50
All entries must meet the criteria listed below, and must be submitted by Friday, December 22nd, 2023.
Button Design criteria:

Button Design criteria:
- Button design must be round.
- Maximum 3 colors not including background which will be white
- Date of the celebration must be on the button (January 27th – February 11th, 2024)
- “Coon Rapids Snowflake Days” and “60th Anniversary” must be on the button
- Suggested design elements are: winter activities in Coon Rapids such as hockey, ice skating, sledding, disc golf, etc. The City Mascot Rocky the Raccoon MUST be included in the design.
- Designs must be submitted on an 8.5 x 11 sheet of white paper with the design in color using the template provided (template available at www.coonrapidssnowflakedays.com)
- The students first and last name, school, grade, parent’s name, and home/parent phone number must be included with entry.
- Open to 5th thru 12th grade Coon Rapids schools students only
- All entries become property of the Coon Rapids Snowflake Association
